We require a minimum of 4 business days’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session without incurring a cancellation fee. This is due to us being more likely to be able to fill an appointment with this notice. Cancellations within 3 business days’ notice will incur a 50% cancellation fee. It is very difficult to fill cancelled appointments, especially for couples where future therapy appointments are booked in around known work, family and social engagements ahead of time. A cancellation fee of 100% of the consultation fee will be charged if an appointment is missed, forgotten about, or cancelled within 2 business days’ notice. (i.e., If your appointment is scheduled on a Monday morning, you need to advise us by Thursday morning that you will not be able to attend). We will be unable to fill this appointment time, which is a loss all around.
An automated SMS reminder and email are sent as a courtesy to your nominated contact details 5 days prior to your appointment. You can confirm your appointment by replying ‘YES’ / ‘Y’ to the SMS reminder. If you do need to reschedule for any reason, please email our administration team with plenty of notice. You can email at any time or manage your appointment online from your appointment confirmation email.
Immersive therapy programs require payment at least two weeks prior to their commencement. Any cancellations within 5 business days’ notice will forfeit 50% of the total immersive therapy fee. Cancellations within 2 business days’ notice of the immersive therapy program will forfeit 100% of the consultation fee.
Marital and relationship treatment sessions require attendance by all parties as the “client” is the relationship. Sessions will not proceed where there is non-attendance by any party/ partner and the requisite session fee will be charged appropriately.
Zero Tolerance Policy for Aggression and Intoxication
Rude, abusive or aggressive behaviour towards any of our team is unacceptable. We uphold therapeutic boundaries for good reason. We reserve the right to terminate or refuse treatment to any client who demonstrates abuse in any form or who is observably intoxicated or under the influence. Authorities will be notified immediately should any of our team feel they are at risk of harm or receive a threat to their safety.
