Core Areas of Supervision Focus

  1. Supervision for the Helpers: Psychologists and Allied Health Professionals

Supporting the professional and personal well-being of psychologists, counsellors, social workers, and psychotherapists is a key focus of mine. It is important to protect your career and to ensure you build a sustainable, self-supporting approach to your care for so many others. My supervision services include:

  • Self-care and burnout prevention to help you maintain resilience in a demanding profession.
  • Guidance on diary and case management to ensure that your practice is self-informed and most protective of your time and energy.
  • Strategies for managing challenging clinical presentations, complaints and protecting professional boundaries.
  • Coaching to support sustainable practice, process efficiencies, career transitions and exit strategies.

Whether you are new to the field or an experienced practitioner, my goal is to provide unconditional support and helpful insights that will underpin your ongoing growth and development.

  1. Leadership Coaching

With extensive experience in leadership and practice management, I provide coaching for small-to-medium private practice owners within the allied health sector as well as executive and leadership coaching across industry. My coaching services are fit-for-purpose (i.e. ad hoc, sessional, packaged) and designed to help leaders develop clarity, confidence, and effective strategies for navigating:

  • Interpersonal and / or team management concerns
  • Values-based career growth, change and role adjustments
  • Navigating leadership challenges in fast-paced or complex environments
  • Support for technical experts moving into leadership roles
  • Balancing business demands with personal well-being

Drawing on my own experiences as a private practice owner and fulfilling leadership roles in the fast-paced plains of the corporate sector, I will provide practical insights and actionable solutions tailored to your goals.

  1. Organisational Psychology Supervision

As an endorsed Organisational Psychologist with a background in the corporate sector including the design and implementation short and long-term organisational development interventions, multi-discipline team leadership, business development and market growth, as well as critical incident and HR management, I am uniquely placed to provide primary and secondary supervision for AHPRA pathways. My expertise includes:

  • Navigating the complexities of organisational psychology endorsement, placements and professional re-entry provisions under AHPRA
  • Enhancing skills in workplace interventions, leadership coaching, and employee engagement strategies.
  • Case consultations for organisational clients, including EAP providers and workplace mental health initiatives.

This service is ideal for psychologists pursuing or completing their organisational psychology endorsement, re-entry to the profession, or those seeking advanced skills in workplace settings.

  1. Couples Therapy Supervision

For practitioners focusing on couples therapy, I am a Certified Gottman Therapist (also on the Certification track for EFCT) and provide specialised supervision to help navigate complex couples or ‘stuck’ moments in couples therapy. Couples therapy is as challenging as it is rewarding and it’s so helpful to have another head involved from time to time. I myself continue to receive supervision ongoing to keep my skills sharp and to ensure I am turning up in the best way possible for clients who place so much trust and faith in us. My services include:

  • Advanced case conceptualisation and treatment planning for couples presenting with entrenched negative cycles.
  • Support in applying Gottman Couples Therapy and Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy interventions.
  • Navigating boundary issues, legal requests and / or third-party interference.
  • Practical strategies for managing resistance, rebuilding trust, and fostering positive outcomes for couples.

This type of supervision is ideal for couples’ therapists of all walks who are seeking to deepen their skills in couples therapy, in any specific Gottman or EFCT interventions, or achieve more meaningful results with their clients.

I also enjoy developing a network of peer referrals with my supervisees, so this type of supervision goes further than mere practice, as I love bringing our profession together where there is good opportunity to do so.

As you can probably tell by this point, I’m a passionate, hybrid psychologist that doesn’t quite want to stick to a lane in this awesome profession. I really enjoy meeting new people and helping others where I can add value. With a lot of love for my husband and young family, I’m also waaay better at practicing what I preach since I started out! I do the work too and make time to explore my personal values, needs and wishes and how to apply these more consciously to a life lived by design, not default.

If you’d like to get to know me and see if I might be a good fit for what you’re looking for, please either book in with me for Professional Supervision (covers any and all of the above) through my online portal or book in a no-fee Discovery Call if you’d like a quick chat with me before making any decisions.
